Mane Joy Connection welcomes a new Community Partnership with STAR Girlz Empowerment, Inc! This spring, I customized and developed an 8-week program, The Strengthening Leadership Through Horses, for the 5 Star Leadership program and the leadership team.
Our program provides weekly lessons on equine safety fundamentals, best practices in horse care and the transferable leadership skills. The leaders learned how to recognise and “harness” the powerful tools of self-awareness and strong communication skills modeled so well by horses.
We concluded the Leadership Through Horses program and celebrated the success of the partnership with a Family and Friends Showcase! Each leader had the opportunity to demonstrate their learned equine skills and transferable leadership skills. Each rider left the program confidently, possessing a new skills to further develop their unique leadership and communication style.
It was a joy working with the 5 Star Leadership team and to be a part of influencing the positive impact each will have in the world! All this joy took place at the beautiful SonFlower Ranch!
